We evaluate applications and conduct interviews throughout the year. Since we have limited space
in our school we can only admit a fixed amount of students. This is a limitation set by the Game itself and not our SG.
Some applicants are referred by existing students. We have found that
this is by far the easiest way to expedite enrollment.
Some applicants are not in or have never been in an SG (Super
Group). These applicants are also interviewed and evaluated. Many have become valuable assets to our school.
Some applicants transfer from their present SGs (which they may
not be happy with) to our School. This is also another method of enrolling, but we still conduct interviews as to the
reasons for such a transfer.
Some applicants
are brand new and without any kind of history, transcripts, and referrals whatsoever. These applicants go through a much
more thorough enrollment process.
We look for
motivated, industrious, spirited, fun loving, students who like to participate in as many school and non-school functions
as they can possibly work into their schedule.
Among
the more important things we look for in a new student are:
1) Motivation: A Nukem High School Girl must want
to go to school! She has the Spirit and the Drive that makes her an Achiever! We don't want to force or demand or insist
on that. It should be something that she enjoys doing.
2) Conduct: A Nukem High School Girl must always conduct
herself in a proper manner. She is never inconsiderate to anyone, nor abusive, nor mean spirited.
She must obey all the rules of the School as well as the Terms of Service set forth by COH (City of Heroes)
3) Appearance: A Nukem
High School Girl is small in Height and Frame but she has the highest of Spirit and
Potential. She is an ambassodor of the school, and must always be in uniform when in public. However, certain considerations are
made for special events, private functions and some school projects.
4) Language: A Nukem High School Girl must remember
that she is a young lady in Paragon City's finest private school for girls. Bad or obscene language in
public is not allowed and not befitting for a girl of such high standards.
5) Attendance: A Nukem
High School Girl must have a good attendance record to remain in the school. A minimum of 4 Hours per week is mandatory. Girls who don't
follow this rule may be suspended. Girls with repeated poor records may be expelled. This does not
apply to girls who give prior notice that they will be away from school for a period of time.
To maintain the highest standards possible, these attributes are what
we look for in every applicant. It makes no sense for a girl to apply, be accepted, and attend our school and then
never show up. It's not fair to those who who are waiting to get in. And, it's not fair to those already
in who wish to excel in their studies.
